Our Mentorship Program

Philly Harvest Mentorship Program focuses on engaging 2nd- 8th graders through Life Skills and STEAM programming in order to cultivate strong relationships with families in the Hunting Park community. Our skilled volunteers meet with the children one Saturday a month for 3 hours and lunch is provided.

Meet Our Team

Ama Westbrook

Ama has been a member of HTCF since November 2003. She has over 15 years of experience in the Social Service and Education field. Ama’s areas of expertise include foster care, HIV/AIDS education, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. She has developed curriculums for at-risk youth and parents. She has also managed student services in higher education. Ama is passionate about effecting change in urban communities and helping individuals to realize their full potential. Ama is responsible for strategic planning, engagement and outreach for Philly Harvest.

Ikeya Craig-Swatson

Ikeya Sade has been a member of HTCF since July 2005. Ikeya currently works at a local college where she supervises clubs and organizations. She has lead and assisted with many initiatives that connect art, education and social interaction in partnership with local universities and high schools across Philadelphia. Her purpose lies in empowering youth to discover their purpose and pursuing their God given passions. Ikeya is responsible for community partnerships, marketing and public relations for Philly Harvest.

Michelle Fletcher

Michelle Fletcher has been a member of HTCF since 1994. She has over 25 years of experience in Business Administration. Her area of expertise lies in banking and business management. Michelle has volunteered with the Children’s Ministry for 20 years. She has a strong desire to restore the bridge between children, parents and the community. Michelle is responsible for school partnerships and parent engagement for Philly Harvest.

Rhonda Bell

Rhonda has been a member of HTCF since January 2015. She is a teacher's aide and assistant basketball coach at the Mathematic Civics Science Charter School. She is also a passionate freelance photographer. Rhonda has a passion to see children in the Hunting Park Community learn how to overcome issues and find their identity in Christ. Rhonda is responsible for recruitment and curriculum development for Philly Harvest.

Tiffany Thurman

Tiffany W. Thurman has been a member of HTCF since April 2004. She has worked with local nonprofits and currently serves as the Chief of Staff with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation where she works with the Commissioner to oversee Philadelphia's parkland, playgrounds, recreation centers, trails, and thousands of programs and events. As a volunteer with Philly Harvest, Tiffany has a strong desire to transform and enrich the lives of children and families in Philadelphia’s Hunting Park neighborhood. Tiffany is responsible for overseeing the organizational dynamics and performance management for Philly Harvest.
